Day 23

Tomorrow it will be a year since I said good bye to Jasper, and realized I do like cats:)
Jasper was a tuxedo cat, he was a good kitty. He was only about 10 months old when I got him, and left us when he was just under six years. He developed a blockage in his bladder. Surgery was going to cost 1500 and we could not afford that, expecially since they could not tell us if it would work and fix his problem for good. So we made a hard choice. We chose to put him down.
Jasper You came home to us on Feb. 1st 2006 from Animal Aide in St.Thomas, and left us for Kitty Heaven on January 24th 2010. I miss you Jazzy!

Day 22

Yeah I know I missed day 12-21, but I had an excuse...See post earlier today.

Chase is back to normal. He's pooping normal, and he's got his energy back. His food is staying down. Yeah! If I never see another emergency room again or hospital room I will be happy!

I kind of fell off the wagon..

After Chase's hoptial stay I kind of fell off the 365 wagon. Chase was released on Wednesday January 11th. I took January 12th off of work to get organized for the next day when the day care kiddos would be back. On Friday January 13th Aidan got a virus. It was messy. I woke up feeling like dirt on Saturday January 14th, then Chase got it on the Sunday January 15th. So we went to the doctors of Monday January 16th because Chase could not keep anything down. My doctor figured it was a new virus unrelated to the RSV. On Thursday he was keeping down waterdowned formula, as per my doctors orders. On Friday he started keeping down full strenght bottles. Last night was the first time since Monday he kept down solid food. Yeah!

This is on Thursday January 19th .He's looking so much better eh?

Days 9-11

Day Nine...At the Hospital on Monday. It started with a ride in an ambulance. All day in Emergency, ventolin treatments every two hours or less, liquid treatments, and a diagnois of RSV. They admitted us. Finally in our room and sleeping with oxygen.
The poor turkey. At least he's sleeping and hes comfortable at this point!

Day Ten. I spent the night with him. He had a good night. Needed some treatments during the  night, but woke up happier then he had in a few days.
Still not 100 % but MUCH better.  One more day and night in then we can go home. Chase had to sleep without oxygen for a night.

Day 11...Today we got to go home. Chase was very happy. Daddy spent the night with him. Mommy came up after Robbie was at school.
The turkey discovered he could pull himself to his knees in his crip at the hospital. He is happy!  We were told about noon by the team of doctors we could go home, but then it took over two hours for the orders to be put in the computer and then the nurse had to do her paperwork. Finally at 2:30 we were in our van on our way to get Robbie from School!
I haven't been around much. On Monday Chase was hospitalized with RSV. He is home now, so my 365 will continue today.

Day Eight

Today is my best freinds little girls birthday.
Happy Birthday Abigail! Today you are Three!
So excited to see what this year holds for this outgoing girl!

Now onto Todays Picture!
Chase is still feeling pretty yucky, but at least he can jump in his jumparoo for a short period of time. This is his favourite past time!

Day Seven

Today wasn't a good day at our household. Chase has been feverish for four days, and today it was the highest. Then he started vomitting. I decided enough was enough. Chase had problems breathing too. Off to Children's Emerg we go. Six puffs of ventolin, a steriod treatment, and a chest Xray, and the verdit is Pnemonia and reactive airways/asthma. Poor lil guy. He was given ventolin to take every four to six hours, amoxicillian, and steriods. Looks like he make take after Aidan after all. I was hoping he wouldn't!

At least he got to enjoy a popsicle. His first one! Too bad it was his first on at Emerg, on his first trip to Emerg. My poor lil man.

Day Four

The Three Must Come down!
All good things must come to an end. Sadly my tree needs to come down today. The cats won't leave the tree skirt alone, and the kids won't leave the ornaments alone. So its time to claim my living room when the kids nap, and take my tree down! But first, three of my favourite ornaments!

Chase's Ornament on the Tree!

Robbie's Ornament on the Tree!

Aidan's Ornament on the Tree!

These wonderful ornaments are from Bronners in Frankemuth MI.  I adore them and the store!!!

Day Three!

SNOW, and LOTS of it is what I woke up too this morning! I was suppose to have three day care kiddos today, but right now I have none. One has cancelled, and the other two are comming, but waiting until they get plowed out.  So for now, its just Aidan, Chase and I. Robbie is still sleeping!
This is the slide out in my back yard! Yesterday we could see the grass and patio!

My Van out front!

Day One

Happy New Year! This year brings big changes to our family, some I can share now, and some you will have to wait for. *and before you start rumors or wonder, no it does not involve me having more kids. That ship has sailed, and we are done!*

The first big change is a new van. Our 2004 KIA Sedona is on its last legs, and as great as my mechanic is, his magic isn't gonna work anymore. So we decided to cut our losses, and trade our van in, and get a new one. I can't tell you much more then that, but once it is all settled I will show you all a picture.

The second big change has to do with Aidan. As some of you know, we are trying to get Aidan an official diagnosis. Aidan is high functioning Autistic. He is a very smart little man who just needs help. He is learning and discovering every day, and I know he will be a great man one day who will accomplish a lot. He just needs help getting there, but don't we all need a little help?
This is my second lil man Aidan, and as his shirt says. He is the centre of my world. Him and his brothers are!

The rest of the changes are going to have to wait. Like my blog says I am on a Journey of Discovery. Who knows where my life will go, but I am excited to find out.

Day One
So I missed yesterday for the 365 day project, so I have posted two today.

The first picture of of our new years eve. I am very blessed to have a wonderful friend who I get to spend a lot of time with. Jenn and her Husband Dave are great friends of mine and Drew's. Our children have basically grown up together, we joke that one day we will be in laws.
This is a picture of me and my lil man Chase. Yes Chase does have a shooter glass in his hand, but it was new and unused. The orange one in my had, well, that was well used that night!!

Day Two
The second picture is off one of my new year's resolution's, to get more organized! I started out today with the front hall closet. I run a home day care, and this area is always a tight spot. I decided to take the doors off the closet, and take all extra clothing that is not needed downstairs. I just have to get to the top shelf.

I forgot to take a before picture, but this is MUCH neater!

Who knows what Day Three will bring?  Since I did show you a picture of Chase and Aidan, I figured I would end today with a picture of Robbie. My first lil man.
On December 30th we took a trip to "The Children's Museum" This is Robbie in the days of yesterday part of the museum. Isn't he cute?
